"Jael" is my daughter's middle name. It means "one who ascends." It's also how my first two initials are pronounced: J.L. I began jotting down on anything I could find, stories she'd share with her Barbies, conversations she had with others and play time with her toys, and I determined that I'd put them into some form of writing one day.
